Stonewall Kitchen's Pink Grapefruit Marmalade

As tasted by Peter

We experiment with a lot of Stonewall Kitchen condiments and foods.  I’m not sure how widespread are their products, but the home headquarters and company store (with all their products, many free samples, and an excellent restaurant) is located in York, Maine.  It’s right off Exit 7 on the Maine Turnpike, so if you are going to Maine plan on a little side trip.

We’re deep into our first jar of Pink Grapefruit Marmalade.  What can I say?  It tastes just like you’d expect and it has such a beautiful color.  When it come to jams and jelly, I am a berry guy.  I’ll pick strawberry over anything else.  However, I’d have to put this marmalade right up there with with my favorites. It has a perfect combination of sweetness and tartness. I’d even choose it over the classic orange marmalade.

Other Stonewall Kitchen marmalades to try are: Orange Cranberry, Tangerine, and Lemon-Pear.
